He has developed his career in the private sector within boutique law firms, mainly for clients in the telecommunications, software, entertainment, construction and property development, tourism, clothing, and cosmetic industries.
He has strong experience in the obtention, management, licensing, and defense of intellectual property rights world-wide through the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks and the Patent Cooperation Treaty, as well as through our wide network of foreign correspondents and business allies.
In addition, Jorge has participated in the development and implementation of national campaigns to promote the legal use of software, initiating license compliance procedures and legal actions against irregular software users.
